Elaine St. Marie,
M.Ed., LPC Intern
512-350-9067

Counseling for the Mind, Body and Spirit: Elaine says, 'I believe in treating the whole person. Your emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing all affect one another. When something goes wrong with one, the others begin to weaken. I believe that whichever aspect of your being on which we focus, the others begin to improve as well. The mind can be quite powerful. Our mind can be our greatest supporter but when the going gets tough, it can also let us down. The good news is that we can control our thoughts. I believe each person has the power to change their minds, change their beliefs and heal themselves.
I will help you strengthen your ability to support the helpful thoughts and dismantle those that are not helpful. I use yoga, nutrition, art and talk therapy to help you find your way back to whole health.'
